Seafood Watch: Our new favorite tool.

We often recommend members and clients add fish to their daily/weekly nutrition plan. High in protein, Omega 3’s and several other great nutrients, fresh fish can help propel you towards your fitness goals.

There is one issue. We’re in Indiana. We don’t have direct access to any major body of water, making it more and more difficult to get good fish.

We can talk wild caught vs. farm raised for hours, but for now, let’s just use the Seafood Watch app to guide us through the fish-buying battle! This app allows you to search the type of fish you bought / plan to buy. Select where it’s sourced from and a few other specifics on the fish, and it will grade your fish!
